Be Who You Are...
The saying on my calendar for this month is, "It's never too late to be who you are." When I look at it each morning I'm reminded of one of my favorite lines from a Michael Franti song.

"Be who you are, nothing more nothing less.."

I like this line because it is common for us as humans to compare ourselves to others, leading to feelings of inferiority or superiority.

It takes every one of us to complete the puzzle of humanity. It doesn't matter the shape or design on your piece, we are all the same size and have the same value.

Are you taking your rightful place in the puzzle of humanity?

Yes, I am taking my rightful place in humanity. It is never too late to be who you are. For me the journey has been, and is today more than ever, trying to figure out exactly who I am.

I have lived the first 35 years of my life thinking I knew who I was. I actually considered myself one of the lucky one who actually did know who I was. It wasn’t until I was truly faced with adversity that I realized I was not who I thought I was. Now I am on the journey of my life and that is trying to figure out who I am. Thank you for the gift of reminding me that “It is never to late to be who you are.

God is everywhere and everything,
Kevin

This is a good reminder for me as well.
It is very important for me not to get into the comparison game. Today I feel like, letting go of the comparison is more of a habit than comparing myself to others...this is terrific progress for me.
Each new level of development brings with it more love. Love for myself and others. And for this I am so grateful!
much love!!

I do get caught up in my moments of self-comparison to others and I wish I wouldn't. Reading your words allow me to have a nice reality check and I'm greatful for it. Thank you.....
