Love, Love, Love
I don't know about you, but when I'm in the midst of a big transition it can be difficult to just relax. So when I found myself up North over the weekend with my daughter, siblings and seven nephews, getting into "sit around and chill" mode was a bit challenging.

The first night was the toughest... I found myself in bed wondering if I would make it for all three nights. I know it sounds strange - vacations are suppose to be fun and carefree, and usually they are for me, but this time I just felt like I needed to be home taking care of business.

What ultimately helped me relax and enjoy the beautiful company and surroundings was repeating the word "Love" in my mind.

This mantra - love, love, love - caused my heart to open. I actually felt it relax and expand. I also felt energy moving in my body, which is always a good thing. It's a surprising anti-anxiety remedy that I wanted to share.

As you all know, I'm a firm believer in affirmations, but this one might be the most powerful of all. It even got me through ripping out the seat of my pants while climbing a rock:)

Bless,
Kim

One I use is: (It's long but works for me)

"In an easy and relaxed manner;
In a healthy and positive way;
In its own perfect time,
For the greatest good of all,
I AM ..."

Stated in the present and visualizing my result as if I am IN the picture/movie and as if the result is already happening...

:)

I struggle with this as a Mother sometimes.

With such a fast paced world and an ever expanding to do list it is hard to ease my mind and be in a present moment with my son at times.

Great tip to help with that Kim!

thank you for the FABULOUS Tristan Prettyman recommendation.

I asked Kim for recommendations on good musicians recently, The world heard that request and through her page you offer up the new artist that I listen to first every time I turn on my ipod.
