Do More, Talk Less..
Have you ever noticed that when you talk about an inspired idea too early the energy deflates and you lose your enthusiasm? Next thing you know, you're on to something else and can't even remember what you were excited about...

I believe that creative energy needs to be contained long enough to gestate and take form. This involves keeping the new concept (conception) to ourselves until it has had a chance accumulate some energy and momentum, taking on a life of its own.

I'm like a puppy - very excitable and licking everyone I come in contact with. Only instead of licking, I gush all over them, excitedly sharing my latest inspiration. This is such a frequent occurrence that I'm surprised my friends and family don't start rolling their eyes the moment I start talking.

My new motto is "Do More, Talk Less." I will try to refrain from sharing all the inspirations I received in yoga today and just get to work on them. Worry not - I promise to gush all over you the moment they are formed enough to live through it.

oh kim you are so funny! =] for me, it takes a very high level of intuitive awareness to maintain a certain inspiration and allow it to, well, "simmer" into a more refined, applicaple thing. i usually patiently allow the process to unfold; for example, i will get a very clear insight but dont talk about it or act upon it until i have the intense feeling it is time. if i am impatient or rebellious(which usually means i am frustrated that i dont know what to do right away), the process takes longer! I am getting better at this slowly but surely. good luck with doing more and talking less!! =]

Love,
Melissa

Melissa - you're so wise to be in tune with your instincts to allow inspiration to simmer until it's time to serve:)

When I was 16, a friend gave me a plaque with a beautiful quote -- "The smallest good deed is better than the grandest good intention." I still have the plaque on my desk today.

An ounce of action is definitely worth a pound of thinking/dreaming/planning. But both are essential to happiness and success.

How fun to discover these comments from some of my favorite people!

Love that quote Sundar - so true, though I agree that we need both vision and action. You seem to be a good balance of the two.

Mystery person from El Paso - I wish there was a Pita Jungle there too - here's wishing you a big plate of hummus!

And Ms. Jen - we are very much alike in our overflowing excitability.. Can't wait for Flag!!

xoxo to you all.
