Caution!
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

We all have desires and dreams - it is the nature of life that we do. Life wants to create through us and knows that in order to do so we must be secure, comfortable and have the resources to make things happen.

What if the only obstacle between you and your dreams is the right dream? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's felt like I was banging my head against a brick wall while trying to reach a particular destination. But there are other times when it feels as if you've clicked into something bigger than you, and everything synergistically moves you forward.

I think it is very plausible, if not probable, that the "right dream" is all it takes to flow effortlessly down the river. The tricky part is finding the right dream - the one that you want in the depths of your heart - the one that will allow you to express your gifts most fully, and therefor optimally serve the whole.

Sometimes we have to wade through the dreams we think we want before getting to the one. This is a refreshing thought in a "positive thinking" world. Perhaps shifting directions is all that's required to get things moving again.

This is so where I am right now... as far as my dreams for the future go.

I don't know if finding the right dream is the answer for me though...some thoughts about letting the dream find me have been drifting around in my head lately...just learning how to really accept where I am now but remaining totally open to all opportunities that come may way- as well as acting on persistant ideas...

Anyway, these are just thoughts that sound good...I am definately not living this reality as of yet...

Good blog though, thanks! I needed the validation.

much love

Well put. I think finding the right dream might mean clicking in to one that's already there..

All we can do is feel around in the dark until we find it!!

yes! i think finding the "right" dream has to do with paying attention to where the dream or desire is coming from and what kind of feeling it has attached to it.

For me, the right dream or desire emerges from my core and attached to it is a whole body feeling of recognition and calm. It is not hurried and has faith that everything will unfold naturally if it is allowed room to expand and be realized. Other dreams, i guess the "wrong" ones (although i am careful with labels these days!), have a totally different quality--fragmented, unsure, urgent, and they usually roam around up in the monkey mind. The more i experience the "core dreams" the more i know the mind should not be our #1 life director at all! Thanks for the blog, kim :)

Wow - I love what you said about the ugency of the "wrong" dreams, perhaps they are ego dreams? And also, the place in the body (core) where the real one's emerge...
